Iceoplex and the U.S. Figure Skating have joined to bring you one of the best learn-to-skate programs available. The U.S. Olympic Committee, as the official national governing body for ice skating recognizes, U.S. Figure Skating. We offer classes for 2 year olds to Adults with variety of skill levels. "Come Skate With US" and learn the basics of skating while having fun!

Objectives of the U.S. Figure Skating "Skate With Us" Programs:
* To provide an enjoyable and safe skating experience
* Teach correct technique of basic elements
* Provide incentive awards
* Promote health and physical fitness
* Develop social relationships through group instruction
* Encourage skating as a lifelong sport

Class Information and Policies
1. Registration is available online or by calling 724-745-6666 ext 200
2. U.S. Figure Skating Insurance is required for class participation. A fee of $10.00 covers the
 student during classes from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. Insurance fees must be paid before a skater goes onto the ice. The fee is non-refundable.
3. An early registration discount is offered each series, register early and save!
4. A 10% discount is given for enrollment of a second family member during the same semester. Discount may not be used in conjunction with any other discount or coupon.
5. Sign up for two skating school classes per week and receive the second class for half price! The second class must be at the same level as the first and both must be taken during the same semester. This offer is non-transferable and applies only to the enrolled skater. You must enroll and pay for both classes at time of registration to receive discount.
6. There are no refunds when withdrawing from classes. A credit voucher may be issued at the discretion of the rink. Classes attended will be deducted from the voucher amount.
7. Helmet (bike or hockey) is required for class participation.
8. Long pants and gloves are also required.
9. Please come 30 minutes early the first class to allow time to properly get fitted for skates.
10. Make-up Sessions are limited to one free makeup for a missed class.
Additional makes will cost $13.
11. Students will be evaluated at the end of the semester. They will be tested and given a recommendation for the next semester. Skaters who successfully pass ALL skills in the level enrolled will be given a badge to recognize their accomplishment.
12. Skate rental is included in the cost for the semester. We highly recommend figure skates for beginners.

Public Sessions
Schedules are available online or at the front desk. Skate rentals are extra at public sessions. 

Freestyle Sessions
Freestyle sessions are designed primarily for skaters taking private lessons in a free style, moves in the field, or ice dancing. Punch cards can be purchased for $100.00 (20 half-hour or 10 hour sessions) at the reception desk. Or, you can pay a higher walk-on fee each session.
