Snowplow Sam 1, 2, 3: Ages 4-6
This section of the Skate With U.S. Program is designed to help preschool aged children develop preliminary coordination and strength necessary to maneuver on skates. Some of the elements are the same as those in the basic levels but the degree to which the skater is expected to perform is a lesser extent. Time with Snowplow Sam will allow preschool children to become comfortable on the ice. After completing Snowplow Sam 3 the skater will move to Basic 2 level.

Basic 1-8: Ages 6 yrs and Up
The "Basic Skills" are the fundamentals of the sport. These 8 levels of the program introduce the fundamental moves: forward stroking, backward skating, stops, crossovers, and turns. Upon completion of the Basic 8 level, skaters will have the basic knowledge of the sport enabling them to advance to a high level of skating.

Freeskate:
Skaters are always excited to graduate to freeskate. During the basic 1 - 8 classes they have already been introduced to beginning spins, jumps, arabesques, and other simple freeskating elements. Each freeskate level is divided into 4 sections: Moves in the Field, Dance Sequence, Spins, and Jumps. All elements should be mastered before a skater advances to the next freeskate level. The freeskate levels are designed so that when skaters graduate from FS 6, they have a strong foundation on which to build showing good use of edges, all basic skills mastered, all basic spin positions acquired, and all jumps learned.

Adult/Teen Skating 1-4: Ages 13 and Up
The adult curriculum is designed for the beginner adult skater to promote physical fitness, improve balance and coordination, while learning proper skating techniques. Divided into 4 levels, adult skaters will progress at an individual rate, while being challenged and motivated.
